Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is the province’s economic immigration program. It works in partnership with the Government of Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Foreign workers, international students and others with the right skills, experience and education apply to the OINP for a nomination.
As the most populous province in Canada, nearly 40% of Canadians call Ontario home. Ontario is also home to Canada's capital city, Ottawa, and its largest city, Toronto. In many ways, Ontario is the center of Canada's economic, social and political life.
Through the program, potential immigrants with the province's targeted skills and experience can obtain a provincial nomination from Ontario and then apply to the Canadian government for permanent residency in Canada.
