

GEORGE BROWN COLLEGE (GBC)
George Brown College (GBC) was established in 1967 with government funding and is accredited by the government of Ontario, Canada. GBC is a member of the Canadian Federation of Institutes of Technology and is one of the top technical colleges in Canada.
GBC has signed credit transfer agreements with a number of prestigious universities in Canada, the United States, and Australia. University of Calgary, Western Sydney University, etc.
GBC is best known for its culinary facilities and classrooms, which are second to none in Canada, and for its own restaurant, "The Chefs' House", located on GBC's St. James Campus. The Chefs' House is located on GBC's St. James Campus. Students not only have the opportunity to practice their culinary skills but also have the opportunity to earn part-time income.
Most of the college's programs offer Co-op programs, and students are often required to seek paid or unpaid internships off-campus or through the college after about four semesters of study. GBC has also signed industry-academic partnerships with many well-known companies.
GBC has an International Student Scholarship to reward international students with outstanding performance. Each semester, GBC offers seven $5,000 scholarships and nine $1,000 scholarships. There are also six $1,000 scholarships available at George Brown's own language school.
GBC is located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario, Canada's largest city and the center of its financial development and cultural exchange. It is the most conveniently located of the four colleges.
The College's four campuses are located in downtown Toronto: Casa Loma Campus, St. James Campus, Ryerson University Campus, and Waterfront Campus.
GBC has more than 4,900 international students from around the world, which is less than 2% of the total student population. There are currently over 29,000 full-time students and over 60,000 part-time students enrolled at GBC. The majority of students at GBC are Canadian, and 94% of students are from Ontario, with a small percentage of students from other provinces, the United States, and foreign countries. Overall, the composition of the student body and its location make GBC a good place for students who want to interact more with local Canadians.
School Programs
The College offers more than 160 programs, including Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Certificate, Graduate Certificate, and Continuing education certificates/designations, Continuing education certificates/designations.
GBC offers conditional admission, which means that students who meet the general academic requirements, even if they do not meet the language proficiency standards, can still enter George Brown's EAP program and complete the designated courses with standardized scores, and be admitted to the program. GBC's most popular programs include their Accounting, Marketing, Early Childhood Education, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Baking, Food and Beverage Management, and Finance programs.
